GPDP Award 2025 – a recognition from the homeland of Champagne

The Temple Champagne Glass series by Altare Studios has been awarded the Grand Prix Design Paris – the international design award established in 1951 by the Institut Français du Design (IFD). The award, known as the GPDP Award, is considered one of the three "Oscars" in global design. The glasses won for Innovation in Products in Culture and Creativity.

Design that takes Champagne seriously

The Temple series is the result of several years of work at the intersection of craftsmanship and sensory design. The glasses are hand-blown at Reijmyre Glasbruk – one of Sweden's oldest and most respected glassworks – in lead-free crystal of the highest quality. Each glass in the series is adapted for a specific champagne style: Prestige, Vintage, Non-Vintage, Coupe, and Flute.

The design language is inspired by ancient temple columns – a bridge between the timeless and the contemporary. Grand Prix Design Paris confirms what we have always believed: that a correctly designed glass not only presents the champagne – it transforms the experience of it.

Award Ceremony in Paris, May 2025

The award was received in Paris in May 2025, in conjunction with an exclusive tasting experience organized at the Swedish Embassy in Paris. The ceremony brought together leading voices from the European design and luxury world.
